Why this matters now: since January 1, 2026, every Class REF and Class B licence application or renewal must include an accepted QCP manual. If you renewed once on the transition pass, your manual is due before your next renewal, and TSBC review time comes on top. Renewal dates don’t move. The shops that start early submit calm.
How it works

Three steps. No technical writing.

You answer a short form in plain language. We write the manual. You submit it and renew.

Step 1

Answer a 20-minute intake

Your licence number, your people, your scope, your logo. No jargon required, “N/A” and “not sure” are perfectly good answers. We turn it into the right wording.

Step 2

Get a full draft in 72 hours

All 17 sections, your branded exhibit forms, your org chart, a signing-ready Statement of Authority, and the pre-filled Appendix B submission checklist, reviewed by a specialist before it reaches you.

Step 3

Submit & renew with confidence

You get a one-page how-to-submit sheet. If TSBC requests changes that come from our drafting, we revise it free until it’s accepted.

What you get

Company-specific and submission-ready

Not a blank template, a complete manual that reflects how your shop actually runs, with everything TSBC asks you to submit.

The manual itself
  • 17-section QCP manual built to BRC-7031-03 (typically 40 to 60 pages)
  • Branded exhibit forms: material receiving, pressure test, NCR, ITP, calibration log, and more
  • Pre-filled Appendix B element checklist with page references, the table TSBC asks you to submit
The system around it
  • Revision-control system set up (TSBC requires annual review of every manual)
  • An Operations Accuracy Attestation, so your manual matches how your shop really works
  • Optional mock-up demonstration package for new applications

A specialist service

Compliance documents, done properly.

GetQCPManual is a dedicated Quality Control Program service for BC trades contractors. We built it for the gap between a $499 template that gets rejected and a $150-an-hour consultant who takes weeks. Neither is fair when you simply need an accepted manual before your renewal.

Every manual is written to Technical Safety BC’s published guideline, made specific to your operation, and reviewed against our production standard before it reaches you. If TSBC requests changes that come from our drafting, we revise them free until it is accepted. Questions before you start? Email rylan@getqcpmanual.ca.

“A QCP manual isn’t marketing copy. It’s paperwork you file with a regulator and then follow every day. That’s why nothing is auto-sent, the price is flat, and the timeline is fixed. You know exactly what you’re paying and exactly when it lands.”

Why not a $499 template

Templates get rejected. Company-specific manuals get accepted.

TSBC’s own free sample is a skeleton, sections 7 through 16 literally say “include requirements per Appendix A & B.” The content has to be your scope, your titles, your forms with your licence number. Generic templates are the #1 rejection reason.

A consultant gets there in 3 to 6 weeks at $150-200/hr. We deliver in 72 hours at a flat price, because these manuals are all we do.

  • Specific to your company, not a fill-in-the-blanks shell
  • Written to the regulator’s published spec (BRC-7031-03)
  • Specialist-reviewed before it reaches you, nothing is auto-sent
  • Flat price, fixed timeline, no hourly billing surprises

Why contractors trust us

Regulator-sourced. Specialist-reviewed. Backed by a written commitment.

A compliance manual is paperwork you file with a regulator, so accuracy is everything. Here’s how we earn the trust to write yours.

Built from the regulator’s own spec

Every manual follows TSBC guideline BRC-7031-03 and submits the exact Appendix B element checklist TSBC asks for, not a guess at what they want.

A specialist reviews every manual

Nothing is auto-sent. Every draft is reviewed before it reaches you, and ships with an Operations Accuracy Attestation you sign so it reflects how your shop actually runs.

Acceptance commitment in writing

If TSBC requests changes that come from our drafting, we revise the manual free until it’s accepted, or refund it, per our Services Agreement.

Accepted by TSBC or revised free, until it is. We can’t control a regulator’s decision, but we stand behind our work. Our full acceptance and refund terms are in our Services Agreement.
Common questions

Quick answers before you start

Do I really need a QCP manual now?

If you hold or are applying for a TSBC Class REF or Class B contractor licence, yes, an accepted QCP manual is required at application and renewal as of January 1, 2026. The transition pass only defers it to your next renewal.

What if TSBC asks for changes?

If the changes come from our drafting, we revise the manual free until it’s accepted. Full terms are in our Services Agreement.

How does payment work?

You pay a 50% deposit through Stripe’s secure checkout to start. That takes you straight to your intake form, your 72-hour clock starts, and we invoice the balance on delivery.

I’m not a technical writer, can I still do the intake?

Yes. The form is plain-language and takes about 20 minutes. “Not sure” and “N/A” are fine answers, we turn your plain words into the correct manual.
